]]> Thanks to everyone who came to chat to us at the IFP Conference, it’s always good to exchange ideas in person. It’s a very inspiring event every year, not least due to the excellent quality of the sessions and the friendly crowd it attracts. If you couldn’t make it, please give us a call if you’d like to chat about anything.

Congratulations to Jason Eldrid and Andrew Elson who won our ‘Wild Living Allowance’ competition. The mystery client could spend an extra £30,129 each year for ten years after retirement. The guesses we received ranged from £10,000 to £150,000, reflecting how hard it is to achieve these calculations without an accurate cash flow modelling tool.

Jason was the closest with a guess of £34, 217. Andrew gave the best suggestion of how this could be spent, his answer was: “Taking a group of friends/family on a wild adrenaline holiday each year, trekking to Nepal, white water rafting on the Colorado River.”

You can have another go at winning if you visit us on our stand at the Personal Finance Society (PFS) Conference, taking place in Birmingham at the beginning of November. Of course, we’ll change the mystery client, so it’s not too easy!! We hope to see you there.
