We are very pleased to announce the launch of a new Truth User Group and delighted to report that more are about to start.
User groups are a great way of keeping up-to-date with Prestwood’s latest developments. They are small groups of Financial Planners who meet regularly to discuss how to get the best out of Truth, as well as sharing and comparing how they run their practices. They tend to involve a balance of technical elements: for example, how to model specific situations in Truth; as well as more process-focused topics, such as planning client meetings. They are run independently, but supported by Prestwood.
On Thursday 20th October, the North East group will launch their first session in North Shields (a few miles from Newcastle). There are already several planners booked on. Simon Rogers and Miles Hesketh will also be there to field any technical questions and give a demonstration of the brand new version of Truth/Pro. The following week, the Bristol group will meet in the city centre on Thursday 27th October, for their third session this year. They will be joined by special guest, Julie Lord (Past President Of The IFP), who will be sharing best practice. We also have user groups which have been running in Leeds and Essex for some time. We are aiming to launch groups in Scotland, Ireland and around other parts of England – we’ve had a great reaction so far!
